There are far, far better things ahead than we can leave behind
-C.S. Lewis

Welcome!

This website is serving as my final portfolio chronicling the completion of my Masters of Educational Technology from Boise State University. Within this site I have collected artifacts that I have created that exemplify my mastery of the AECT standards as well as reflections on my professional growth while enrolled in this program.

About Me

Picture

I received my Bachelors of Science in Education from Baylor University in 2008.  Following my graduation I worked as a Director of Student Ministries in Colorado.  In 2011 my wife and I moved to Hong Kong to pursue international teaching.  I received my teaching licence (D.C.) through Teach-Now Inc. in 2013 in middle school math.  I am entering into my fifth year in Hong Kong teaching middle school Bible as well as volunteering as a middle school tech coach.  On top of teaching in Hong Kong I have also been an online instructor for Teach-Now since 2013.

Enrolling in the MET program at Boise State has been one of the best decisions I have ever made.  I entered into this program with the hopes of being trained to build connections between my curriculum and technology, enhancing my students' ability to learn.  My hopes have been exceeded, and I am now excited to take what I have learned and apply it to my current and future schools.
