There are far, far better things ahead than we can leave behind

Welcome!
This website is serving as my final portfolio chronicling the completion of my Masters of Educational Technology from Boise State University. Within this site I have collected artifacts that I have created that exemplify my mastery of the AECT standards as well as reflections on my professional growth while enrolled in this program.
About Me
I received my Bachelors of Science in Education from Baylor University in 2008. Following my graduation I worked as a Director of Student Ministries in Colorado. In 2011 my wife and I moved to Hong Kong to pursue international teaching. I received my teaching licence (D.C.) through Teach-Now Inc. in 2013 in middle school math. I am entering into my fifth year in Hong Kong teaching middle school Bible as well as volunteering as a middle school tech coach. On top of teaching in Hong Kong I have also been an online instructor for Teach-Now since 2013. Enrolling in the MET program at Boise State has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. I entered into this program with the hopes of being trained to build connections between my curriculum and technology, enhancing my students' ability to learn. My hopes have been exceeded, and I am now excited to take what I have learned and apply it to my current and future schools. See the content of my portfolio by clicking on the buttons below. |
