The song already started in your head...

when you saw the title of this blog post.
The infamous song made popular by the most iconic sock puppet of all... Lambchop!  A defining moment of our childhood was closing out that PBS gem with "The Song that Doesn't End".  A melodic masterpiece that ingrained so deep into our brains, that any mention, even close to the phrases will start the never ending ballad of childhood. The 10 hour version is to the right for your listening pleasure!

This post isn't about puppets... it's about
GOOGLE FORMS!

Google forms gives teachers the AWESOME option to create a LOOPING quiz.  Like the title suggests a Quiz that Never Ends!

The concept is simple.

As long as students keep getting the answers correct, they get to continue through the quiz.   The instant they choose a WRONG answer, they are looped back to the beginning of the quiz to start the process over again.

Step 1: Create your Google Form and build your quiz

Step Two: Create a New Section for Each of your Questions.

Step 3: Move questions to their assigned sections

Step 4: The Magic Happens

Once you have done these steps,

test your questions a few times to see if they are all working the way you want.
From here you are now giving your students the joy of experiencing MASTERY learning.  Have fun!

And think about this... if you can create a loop, could you create a Choose Your Own Adventure?!?

In twenty years time, maybe I will not remember anymore what it feels like to crave for someone's presence. Maybe I will be too busy trying not to die. Maybe I will remember people's faces but I will not remember exactly how they made me feel. I am thirty six right now and I don't remember how I was in school. I remember I chased guys but I really don't remember why and how intense I felt. One this is clear though. Maybe I was born defeated and I will die defeated. I can think positive but positive can never change facts.

I heard about that before. Who will miss that? Life is the quiz that never ends. The only big question is who had been writing the questions? Who gets to have a say if the answers are wrong or right? If we end up with mostly wrong answers, what's going to happen then? Do we start another test with a different set of questions or will it be the same test over and over again until we finally learn to answer correctly or in a way which might be in line or agreeable with whoever supposedly is making the questions?
